Colleen began working as a Litigation Paralegal in 2010 and is well-versed with all phases of litigation for a diverse range of practice areas including construction defect, premises liability, products liability, personal injury, toxic tort, commercial litigation, and appellate work.
Prior to joining Hearn & Fleener, LLC in 2016, Colleen worked for a well-respected Denver civil defense firm which specialized in the defense of owner/developer, general contractors, and subcontractors in complex construction defect matters. She has been an integral member of numerous trial teams and has assisted in a variety of trial cases including a case in front of the Tenth Circuit Federal Court for the District of Colorado. Colleen brings with her to Hearn & Fleener a versatile approach to tackling the complexities of construction defect litigation as she possesses vital experience having worked construction defect cases from both sides.
Originally from New Haven, Connecticut, Colleen studied Political Science at Western Connecticut State University. Like any respectable Colorado transplant, she spends most of her free time in the mountains where she enjoys skiing, hiking, and rock climbing.
Fun Fact: Knows the lyrics to every Beastie Boys song, is a self-professed pizza snob, and once managed to receive a traffic citation while on a bicycle.
