Jessa has been working as a Litigation Paralegal for over 15 years in various areas of practice including criminal defense, dependent neglect, personal injury, and commercial litigation. Prior to joining Hearn & Fleener in 2017, Jessa served as a litigation liaison overseeing litigation and settlement administration for a national coordinating counsel office specializing in mass toxic tort claims. In that capacity, Jessa gained invaluable experience managing very complex litigation as well as lending trial support in almost every state.
Originally from Northern Nevada, Jessa moved to Montana and obtained her Paralegal Certification from Montana State University, Billings. She lived in Montana for many years where she enjoyed hiking, camping, fishing, hunting, riding horses and helping friends during cattle round-ups and brandings. Since moving to Colorado, she has continued to enjoy the outdoors and loves to take her son camping, fishing and soon, hunting.
Fun Fact: Jessa grew up riding horses and working with animals, large and small. She spent many years competing in barrel racing, team roping and equestrian jumping events. Quite literally, this is not her first rodeo! As an adult, she took up playing roller derby and learned how to fly fish.
