Sean has been a trial lawyer representing both plaintiffs and defendants in complex construction defect and professional liability lawsuits since 2009. With Hearn & Fleener, Sean pursues his passion for representing property owners exclusively in construction defect litigation.
Prior to joining Hearn & Fleener, Sean worked for two respected construction defect law firms both defending and prosecuting defective design and construction claims. Sean has additional experience representing homeowner associations as general counsel while working for a multi-state HOA law firm. Sean’s experience representing homeowner associations, contractors and developers affords him a unique perspective and a thoughtful approach to construction defect cases.
Sean attended the Gonzaga University School of Law and graduated in 2008 with a J.D and certificate in Environmental Law. Sean holds an undergraduate degree in Business Management from The Metropolitan State University of Denver which he obtained in 2003.
Sean is a volunteer member of the Board of Directors for Re:Vision, which is a Colorado non-profit that works with people in economically marginalized neighborhoods to develop resident leaders, cultivate community food systems and create an economy owned by the community.
Fun fact: Sean and his wife have a flock of organic egg laying hens and a hydroponic greenhouse which they use to produce food for their family and friends. They also have a potbellied pig named Daisy who is a pet, not food.
